An addition to this house allowed a clean linear design for the new kitchen to replace the awkwardly shaped original room.
A combination of painted white cabinets and wood was used.
French doors to the renovated patio let in plenty of light and provide a connection to the outdoors.
The original eating area was tight even with a small table for four. Now a table for six fits very comfortably and with the leaf inserted, eight people can enjoy a meal together.
The artwork and flower arrangement add a touch of color to the neutral color scheme.
The coffee station helps keep the main counters free for meal prep.
Compare this photo with the "before" picture taken of the same view to see how removing a small section of wall really opened things up!
